Children in Three Rivers can dive into October half term with lots to look forward to, thanks to the free activities on offer from Three Rivers District Council. We're waste aware, say pupils

St Michael's Catholic High School in Garston has shown itself to be the greenest school in Three Rivers for the second year running, after again winning second place in a competition run by WasteAware, the Hertfordshire Waste Partnership. The school won £500, which was donated by paper recycling company Aylesford Newsprint.

Chairman meets classmates at Parmiters

On Thursday September 11, Chairman of Three Rivers District Council Chris Lloyd visited Parmiters School to talk to the Upper Sixth. Councillor Lloyd spoke to the group of young people about his role as Chairman, the services local Councils provide, getting more involved in their community and their hopes for the future.

Completion delay for the William Penn Leisure Centre

Gee Construction has confirmed to Three Rivers District council that it no longer expects to meet the completion target for the swimming pool at the William Penn Leisure Centre. The causes of the delays to date are disputed, and issues of responsibility are under negotiation.
