A popular pub with a traditional pub feel but none of the things you would regularly associate with an old pub. It has a wide selection of real ales, a wine list boasting over 90 wines and a brilliant daily changing menu. If you want a drink with an atmosphere this is the place. On a Friday and Saturday it can get a bit busy but that doesn’t seem to affect its popularity. The restaurant is a lovely surprise set slightly back from the pub area and the food has been highly rated. The bar staff seemed young and full of energy whilst the pub still keeps its traditional side, attracting young and old of all different types.
